Important Reminder: Vaccination Requirements for All Boarding Cats

At The Lodge Boarding Cattery, the health, safety, and wellbeing of every cat in our care is our highest priority.

We would like to remind all customers that up-to-date vaccinations are a strict requirement before any cat can be admitted for boarding. This policy is in place to protect not only your own pet, but all cats staying with us.

Unfortunately, in the past two weeks we have had several instances where cats arrived without valid vaccination records. Regrettably, this has meant we have had to refuse entry at the point of arrival.

We wanted to let our customers know about a small update to our daily boarding rates, which will come into effect from [1st February 2026].

Over the past year, like many small businesses, we’ve seen rising costs across essentials such as food, utilities, insurance, and general running expenses. To help us continue providing the same high standard of care, comfort, and attention that your cats are used to, we’re making a modest adjustment to our prices.

What’s changing:

Single-cat pens: increase to £14.50 per day

Two-cat pens: increase to £22.50p per day

Three-cat pens: to £29 per day

We’ve worked hard to keep this increase as small and fair as possible, while still allowing us to maintain the calm, clean, and secure environment your cats enjoy during their stay.

We truly appreciate your continued trust in us to care for your pets. If you have any questions at all about this change, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
