My name is Andrea, the owner of The Pawsitive Coach. I have always loved animals, specially dogs. Growing up we had mainly boxers and rescue dogs, nowadays we have Eli, our 2 year old amazing Borador (collie-lab cross). I am passionate about canine behaviour, and I'm a certified dog trainer from Victoria Stilwell Academy (VSA-CDT). I also have studies in Introduction and Intermediate Canine Psycho
logy in Animal Care College and I'm certified in Level 3 Award of Canine Emergency First Aid. I believe understanding dogs comes with constant learning, so I'm currently coursing Advance Canine Psychology in Animal Care College. My training methods are based on positive reinforcement, avoiding fear based techniques, and putting the focus on teaching the dog wanted behaviours. My aim is to empower owners through positive training practices, helping them to achieve "WOW moments" of training and understanding with their dogs. I work on giving owners the tools to improve the communication between them and their dog, strengthen the bond, and help build a relationship based on trust and guidance. A dog that has a good communication with his owner is less likely to perform problem behaviours, and more likely to listen.... Let's get started!
