I would like to kindly remind you that, as mentioned in a previous post, starting in April there will be some adjustments to my pricing structure. This can be seen below. Due to the ongoing inflation and rising costs, these changes are necessary to ensure I can maintain a steady income as a self-employed individual. This will also help me continue providing the best possible care to your pets by allowing me to dedicate the necessary time and resources to their well-being. Please rest assured that any overnight care bookings made and confirmed before April will remain at the current rates and will not be affected by these new prices. I sincerely appreciate your understanding and ongoing support during this transition. If you have any questions or concerns about the updated pricing, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you once again for trusting me with your pet’s care.

What an incredible way to wrap up my holiday!

Iceland truly delivered an unforgettable experience—from chasing the northern lights and horseback riding to witnessing a spectacular lava show. I also tried snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Silfra Fissure, where you swim between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates—an experience like no other. Then it was snowmobiling across stunning landscapes, whale watching, and finishing with the iconic Golden Circle and relaxing Blue Lagoon tour. Every moment was packed with adventure and awe!

I have a genuine passion for working with animals, and it always amazes me how, no matter where I am, they seem to seek me out. There’s something special about the connection we share—animals instinctively respond to my energy and care. It’s a rewarding experience that brings both joy and a deep sense of fulfillment, making every encounter memorable and meaningful. So, here are a few photos of the amazing animals I’ve met during my time in Iceland!

It has been an absolute pleasure caring for all the wonderful animals throughout the year, and I am truly grateful for the continued support of my business.

This year, I have decided not to send out Christmas cards, as I am choosing to make a donation to support animal welfare and children instead.

Please note that I will be away this week, but I will be sure to get in touch after the Christmas holiday. Many of you have expressed interest in seeing updates from my holiday, so I will be sharing a post once I return. Tuesday 9th December (tomorrow) = 11-12 (1hour slot)
Thursday 11th December = 9-10 (1hour slot) or 3-4 (1hour slot)

Thank you so much Helen for your incredibly kind words! I hope you found the photo updates enjoyable; the particular photo below stood out to me, as it perfectly captured her playful spirit in that moment. It was an absolute pleasure caring for Molly. Knowing how much you cherish her, I made sure she was pampered and enjoyed every moment, from the walks to the cuddles and playtime. We built a strong bond through several meet-and-greets and walks, which was especially important for Molly as a rescue dog. This process allows me to build trust with yourselves and your pets so that you could go away with the peace of mind that they are in good hands and won’t be scared. I'm so happy you returned to a clean home, as I always aim to leave a house as tidy as I find it, and that you were able to relax on your holiday. It means the world to me that you felt comfortable leaving Molly in my care. I truly enjoyed the time I spent with Molly.
