Job Title: PART- TIME (Dog /Swim Coach)
Location: Canine Dip and Dive Hertford
Job Type: Seasonal, April – October (weekend and bank holidays work required)

About us……
We’re a fun, energetic dog swimming pool where the goal is simple: happy dogs having the best time in the water. From first-time paddlers to confident splashers, we create a safe, playful environment where dogs can build confidence, burn energy, and just have a brilliant time.

The Role……
We’re looking for a part-time Dog Swim Coach to join our team—someone who loves dogs, doesn’t mind getting soaked, and can bring good vibes to every session. You’ll be in the pool helping dogs learn to swim, boosting their confidence, and making sure every visit is full of tail wags. You will also help assist the owner and the manager with the day to day running of the pool.

What you’ll be doing…..
- Getting in the pool with dogs and supporting them as they learn to swim
- Encouraging nervous dogs and celebrating the confident ones
- Making every session fun, safe, and positive
- Guiding dogs in the water during sessions
- Chatting with owners and sharing updates on their dog’s progress
- Keeping the pool area clean, safe, and ready for the next splash session

What we’re looking for……
- A genuine love for dogs (all shapes, sizes, and personalities)
- Comfortable being in the water most of your shift
- Positive, patient, and upbeat attitude
- Confident handling dogs and reading their behaviour
- Good people skills—you’ll be chatting with owners a lot
- Reliable and happy working as part of a small team
- Must be available to work weekends and bank holidays
Also MUST have previous experience with working with dogs.
Can start immediately with training and job role .

Bonus points if you have…..
- Experience working with dogs (daycare, grooming, walking, training, etc.)
- Canine first aid knowledge
- A good sense of humour—because dogs will absolutely do unexpected things

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of working with dogs.
Ideally a person that has flexible availability to start their training very soon. It’s a beautiful location at Westmill Lakes where the pool is located.
