Since I got registered for the advanced level, I have completed 6 case study sessions but 0 course work. Today I challenged myself do 7 questions of the theory work. I did the easier ones of course but still, 7 done is 7 done!
I haven't dared to peek at the A&P yet, that can wait 🤣
A large black slug shimmied in to the office to keep me company 🖤
This song was on the playlist I was listening to while I worked. Good repetitiveness for entering a study trance!

So calm and steady today. Lovely to see Sky still.

Grace is a sweet girl. She showed me a lot of trust despite this only being our 2nd time meeting each other. I like the lip wobble she has going on!

Sky and Kinna and calm vibes 😌 so nice to see Sky still and content.

3 beautiful girls during their 2nd session of advanced case studies. Photos don't do them justice at all-good job I'm better at body work than photos! feel very lucky to have access to such lovely beings through this training.
I have been good and written up all of yesterday's work while it was fresh in my mind. Tomorrow me will not thank me for working till 11pm though 😬 time management has never been my strong suit!

I didn't write my first advanced case studies up as I went today 😬 feels a bit like I've fallen at the first hurdle!
In my defence, I had a neice's birthday party to attend so didn't have time to write all 3 up but I definitely could have squeezed 1 in instead of watching tv! Oops! It will be Tueaday or Wednesday before I write them up now. Let's hope my memory is playing the game by then!

I did 3 case studies today.
I forgot to take a photo of beautiful Grace who had her first Equine Touch session. Here are lovely Kinna and Sky, who I have worked with before, having a relax before their turn. Kinna seemed to enjoy herself, Sky not as much but we got a few moments of calm and processing.

Ooooh I was in such a mood yesterday.

I woke up and knew I had a whole, sunny day to do as I pleased. Excellent! So what did I do?! Wasted it with scrolling on my phone and decision paralysis mostly! I did go out to get us pastries for brunch, which was a nice change and felt very middle aged 🤣

As the day wore on I was getting more and more frustrated with myself. Eventually I went out with the dog because I know that being in nature is never going to make me feel worse and will likely lift my mood, and if not then I have at least done my body some good! I took a book ("All Quiet on the Western Front" which is my book club book this month) and after feeling slightly irked that there were other people walking (on a very well trodden public route to a well known monument 🤣) I got over it and sat under a tree and read a couple of chapters with B attached to my foot. I didn't think that through as the potential for bombing off after a squirrel or deer was high and it could have been a very comedic scene of a short, rotunde woman being pulled along by the leg across the Oxfordshire Countryside by a large black lab with no sense of self/owner preservation!

I did feel better for doing it and Bruno got to go out and sniff to his heart's content so win-win 💚 I enjoyed the drive too, nice to feel the wind in my thinning hair (thanks hormones!) and listen to the radio with my fave furry being along for the ride (to be clear, that is my B Dog not the husband!)

I intend to walk more this week, not just to beat my sister and friend at our walking challenge (or at least not lose spectacularly)but because I love the countryside, fresh air and my silly black slug of a dog! What is your go-to to feel cheered up? And do you also get sucked into overthinking/over scrolling?!

Horses are great at being in the moment, and that rubs off on the humans around them so I am glad to have case studies booked in at the end of the week which will remind me to be present and make the most of the day that is here in front of me!

Ooooh I changed some bits on my page to say I am now working at Advanced level and have my final round of case studies and theory to complete. Exciting!

I have a favour to ask, if your horse has been a case study for me, please could you write me a review? Samantha, Alyson, Vicky, Abingdon RDA Thank you 😊
I am thinking ahead to being qualified (eeeek!) and it would be good for people to see some client reviews when they see my page.

Happy Monday everyone!

I passed! Hooray! Onwards to advanced! 🥳🥳
