I’m Charlotte—a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to four wonderful cats (Freja, Bilbo, Odin, and Sigrid), three curious chickens, and a beautiful Appaloosa horse. My journey has always been sh
aped by a deep love for animals and a strong commitment to their wellbeing. I began my professional path studying Philosophy (BA Hons) and Psychology (MSc), which led to rewarding work in mental health as a support worker, carer, and practitioner. But my passion for animals has always been at the heart of what I do. Over the years, I’ve worked hands-on with animals as a receptionist and carer in catteries and kennels, gaining invaluable experience in animal behaviour and care. I later founded Charlotte Emily Pet Care, offering tailored cat and dog sitting, walking, home visits, and home stays. In May 2025, I trained in iPet Cat Grooming at Absolutely Animals in London, and soon after, I followed my dream of creating a dedicated feline wellness space—Cat Cave Cat Spa—which officially opened in July 2025. At Cat Cave, I combine my mental health background with expert cat grooming knowledge to create a calm, respectful, and enriching grooming experience. Every cat is treated with the same care and attention I give my own—and that makes all the difference.
