When we look after our guest pooches at Holidays4Dogs we will follow your instructions to the letter.

Not allowed on the sofa at home? We'll make sure your dog doesn't learn bad habits while you're away.

BUT, we are equally happy for sofa snuggles if that's ok with you! Many of our carers are happy for dogs to sleep in bedrooms and have free run of their holiday home. We NEVER confine dogs to kennels, or crates.

Not sure we'd be able to accommodate dinners at the kitchen table 🤔 - but, we can provide every home comfort your dog could wish for with plenty of exercise (or not so much if that's your dog's thing), lots of love, games and enrichment in a loving and safe family home.

Don't worry - she won't be answering the phones, she hasn't worked her way up from counting pencils yet.😂 (She'd never make any sense with a stick in her mouth anyway).

It's World Coconut today - in case you were wondering 😂🥥

Dogs can eat coconut, but only in small quantities. Too much can cause gastrointestinal upsets - and we don't want that.🤢

It does have anti inflammatory properties though, so good for dogs (and people ) who suffer from conditions like arthritis. It can also boost the immune system and it's good for the skin too.

You can buy coconut oil food supplements for dogs in major pet outlets and on-line.

It can be quite worrying for dog owners when they witness their dog limping. There are many reason why dogs might be reluctant to put weight on one or more feet, which results in limping.

The most important consideration is whether is the dog is able to bear any weight on the affected limb. If the onset of lameness is sudden and the dog appears to be in pain, or distress, it is important to seek veterinary attention straight away.
