Maggie-Moo’s turn to feel colicky today. No temperature or worrying signs on her bloods which is good just struggling a bit but the fabulous Fernanda from has been thorough as ever and we are keeping a close eye on her. Thanks so much to everyone that helped with my hectic day today 🦄

Steph has been clipping some of your favourites this morning so they are comfortable for half term - have you booked your extra rides and stable management sessions? The ponies love the extra fuss and fun 🤩

Lovely to have a break in the weather yesterday to play with Jodie, Lola and Terry. Lola is enjoying being back working which is lovely to see and the babies are getting stronger all the time .equestrian21

Never boring here. We sedated clipped Mario, Robbie and Daisy with varying clipper success. Greatly appreciated the extra help from Meagan and then had some routine vaccines done too.
Bear and Finn are struggling with the sand again so they also had a paraffin tubing treatment. Fairly hectic all round but watching Daisy out happily less hairy after makes it all worthwhile!!
Finn has moved to front yard so I can keep a close eye on him as well as Bear and we also have Rupert on lockdown with wetter droppings - being cautious. Spring cannot come fast enough!!

It’s been a busy day but productive with a visit to make sure they all have well-fitting saddles still as they change shape - Terry has grown again! We also had .b2003 back on Benji for a walk as his rehab continues and .equestrian21 did some work on Maggie’s canter with Minnie to chase! Bring on the Spring!!

SWEC is frosty and most have rugs but here in Niederau where it’s not above -4 today the ponies are all rug free and enjoying Christmas trees as a playtime snack! Guess it’s what they are used to. Thanks to everyone at home looking after my beasties 🦄 ❄️

Lola gave us some stress yesterday with a strange windsucking type movement. We had an evening trip to Liphook for a scope and found that she had an area of inflammation in her airways. It looks like something has irritated her, maybe a bramble or spike of hay. She’s on wet food, pain relief and a close eye but she looks bright enough. Fingers crossed 🤞
