I’ve received quite a few enquiries later with people asking about needing rats for company. Although I rarely have kittens, on occasion I may be able offer out retired breeding does or rats that will not be used in my breeding plans (for a miriad of reasons- usually just that I have kept a few and the others are slightly better type. )

I’m always happy to have a chat about these if anyone is interested.

Our Christmas litter babies are not so small any more. They are incredibly cute (despite the fact that my photos are awful.)

One doe in the essex litter - poor thing with 8 brothers! Luckily there are some in the Russian buff litter so she will soon have same age company. Heavy buck odds with this line lately!

The Russian buff litter are so chunky and fat. I adore them. The Essex also have eyes now and are very sweet little bundles of fluff.

Two healthy litters doing well. There does seem to be a lot of bucks again though!

Little ones are doing well. Winters litter of Russian buff has 5 and Amber’s essex litter has 9. All fat and chunky as they should be.

We will be tweaking our homing process going forward to make it easier for everyone.

Rather than having an ongoing list, we will only open it once we have kittens born / ready to go to new homes. That means that no one is waiting a long time and I will hopefully not have to chase people quite so much to see if they are still waiting.

Currently I still have quite a few people waiting (mostly for does) so I will be working my way through those still on our current list - this will remain as it was until everyone has had their kittens or asked to be removed.

Christmas babies….. and boxing day babies! Having some time with family and trying to avoid technology for a few days but thought this deserved a quick post. So excited for both these litters!

They are growing in size and confidence. I have no doubt they’ll make great pets.
