It's been a great pleasure to work with kelsey from Four Winds Saddle Services on designing our new model the Hawkins Kestrel Jump saddle.
Keep your eyes peeled for the launch day π
New model alert!
Hawkins Saddles & Four Winds have been collaborating to make a clients dream saddle come true.
The Kestrel Jump is built on a different tree than both options available for the Osprey.
The saddle is constructed with semi deep wide seat, forward flap & moveable blocks in a calfskin finish as standard.
The tree in the Kestrel is suited to horses with moderate withers, wider spineous processes, a flat profile front to back and who generally gets wider towards the back of the saddle.
A fit well muscled competition horse who comes through the back and engages their thoracic sling in work is who we've geared this saddle towards.
This dual flap is made for a balanced secure ride over fences, with thoughtful design elements and a supportive panel that allows the horse to come up through its back on the flat and over fences.
Stay tuned for more glimpses at this exciting new addition to our available saddles.
