With the warmer weather arriving weβve been making the most of shady spots and cooling off with a splash in the water where possible π¦
As always the number one priority is keeping the pups safe. Iβve popped below a quick reminder of how walks may be adapted on warmer days:
π³ Walks will be planned around shaded routes where possible
π§ Plenty of hydration breaks will be providedπΆ If any dog appears to be struggling in the heat, walks will be shortened to ensure their safety
π‘οΈ If temperatures become too high, walks may need to be adjusted or cancelled and drop in visits can be arranged
β° Walk times may be adjusted to cooler parts of the day and Iβll give as much notice as possible if this is necessary
πIf your dog has a cooling vest, cooling bandana etc, please leave it out for their walk or pop it on beforehand.
