Hello everyone! ✨️

Firstly, apologies for the radio silence on this account. Moving and renovation has used up a lot of my brain space, but I havent forgotten about rats. I've had a few guests, new baby rats for my own mischief, and have been to my first rat show!

My prices have been changed slightly - check my featured posts for the new rates. Please remember these prices include a homemade food mix based on the shunamite diet, hammocks, supplements, free roam, medicine-giving when needed, and enough malt paste to help settle them in 🥰

I'm already getting booked up for the summer, and I only book one guest mischief at a time, so please book ASAP ❤️

I've been busy with lots of guests over the past few weeks! ✨️

3 mischiefs have come and gone, and I've loved meeting them all. They all have their little quirks, but I haven't met a rat who doesn't like malt paste yet...

✨️ CLEANING / BIOSECURITY ✨️

Cleanliness and infection control is very important with rat boarding, so I use a vet-grade cleaner on everything between mischiefs!

Today I've been busy spraying down the cage with Anigene solution, wiping it down and letting it dry. I've also been soaking all the ropes, etc in it, before rinsing and drying.

Excited to meet some more of your ratties, knowing I'm keeping them safe 🥰

✨️ AVAILABILITY / NEWS ✨️

I will be moving to a flat over the next 6/7 months. So sadly, I am unable to reliably accept any more bookings before May/June 2025.

This is disappointing to do so early on in Jess's Ratty Rest's existence, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience it may cause. But I won't be moving far at all (Sutton, London), and I'll be back soon!

I will of course be able fulfill the current bookings, and I will update here if any space frees up. Much love to you and your ratty ones ❤️✨️🐀

Meet my resident ratties! 🐀

They won't mix with any guests at all, for biosecurity purposes (no illnesses or parasites can be passed on!) and I'll even change my clothes between handling them and any guest ratties. But I play with them every day, they've taught me a lot and I love having them in my bedroom 🥰

(Anyone with girl rats will know how hard it is getting a non-blurry photo 👀🥲)
