Hi all,
We’re writing to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of gratitude for your continued support. Due to unexpected changes to our business rates, we have been hit with a financial demand from the local authority that we simply cannot meet. After exhausting all our current options, it’s with great sadness that we are facing the real possibility of having to close our doors permanently on 10th October 2025.
We are exploring every avenue to keep going, and we're reaching out to you (our amazing community) to ask for your help. We need to find a sustainable way to pay this debt, sadly starting at a time of year which annually is our quietest period.
If you are in a position to pay any extra beyond your usual daycare fee, it would mean the world to us or even forfeiting any discounts you may get. Every little bit will help toward being able to pay the additional £1600 per month business rates that the council require us to pay.
We’re also considering the option of setting up a GoFundMe page to make it easier for anyone who’d like to contribute anything extra or share our story. We'll send out a link very soon.
In the meantime, we will be limiting our dog capacity from 32 to 24 so we can run on fewer staff (to try to save some money) so we apologise for any let downs with booking attempts. For the time being transport services will be taken over by Jade.
This is not a message we ever thought we’d have to send, and it’s incredibly hard to write. Your trust, loyalty, and the joy your dogs bring us every day have meant everything.
We’re not giving up without a fight, and with your help, we hope this won’t be the end.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our journey so far.
