8 years on. RIP Ken, GBNF!

LCpl Ken Rowe and Sasha

On 24 July 2008 LCpl Ken Rowe was killed in action whilst supporting 2PARA in Helmand province.

His dog Sasha was also killed, and in 2014 Sasha was posthumously awarded the PDSA Dickin Medal.

Once again, sorry for the lack of activity everybody! We are just so busy with clients we find it hard to update our page. We thought we would share the most bizarre of sessions this month: Duke (bull mastiff) and Dutchess (English Bull Dog) encountered a raccoon whilst doing some environmental training in New Brighton 😳 haha

The newest member of The Canine Connection team, Hickson. He is a 4 month old Catahoula Leopard Dog who will be trained and then used to assist in the rehabilitation of clients dogs. He is already showing signs of becoming a very well balanced boy. Welcome onboard Hickson 👍😊💙
