HOT WEATHER & PET SAFETY

We want to remind everyone to take extra precautions when bringing your dogs to their grooming appointments. Hot pavement and high temperatures can quickly become dangerous for your pet.

Avoid walking your dog to appointments during extreme heat if possible. Pavements can burn paw pads in seconds, and dogs are highly vulnerable to heat exhaustion and heatstroke — especially brachycephalic breeds, senior dogs, puppies, and heavily coated dogs.

Here are a few important reminders:
• If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
• Walk during cooler parts of the day whenever possible.
• Use air-conditioned transport if available.
• Bring water for your dog during travel.
• Watch for signs of overheating: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or disorientation.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first. If you’re running late because you need to adjust travel plans due to the heat, we understand.

We closed Bank Holiday Monday and reopen Tuesday. Next week going to be 🔥 so make sure you book in early don't leave till last minute 🐾
