I live in New Brighton with my husband Russ and our 2 gorgeous cats Mitty & Mia. I started catsitting in April 2022 , and now have over 140 furry clients registered, many of them regulars. Update on mum & dad.
Dad's got his new hip but will be in for a couple of days. He's in a lot of pain but no sign of infection. Mum had her dressing removed today and is doing well. Again, no sign of infection but upsetting, given the nature of her op. So still running back & forth to the hospitals for the next few days. Thank you for all the messages of support! 😺

Update on mum & dad 💝
So, mum's mastectomy went really well. Her BP was a little high so they kept her in overnight but she's home and busy making lovely heart-shaped pillows and drain-bottle bags for other patients. She's had her drain removed yesterday. I might have to gaffer tape her arm to her body to stop her reroofing the house! She's amazing! My brother came over from France and has been an enormous help. Thanks Björn!😻

Dad gets his new hip on Monday so fingers crossed he'll start getting up and about and start doing a few things for himself. I'll be working from their house all next week but have catsits either side, so admin's taking a back seat and I'll catch up on receipts etc when I can. My manager (day job) has been fantastic allowing me to work flexibly 😇

I am going to have to cut back on the amount of catsits I do, but have a list of lovely catsitters you can contact if I'm not available 🐈‍⬛

I'll keep you posted 😻
