⭐️ Sleeping in his crate next to me means he is getting plenty of undisturbed rest with the security of having me close by
⭐️Lots of regular trips outside have helped Chance understand where to toilet, meaning no accidents so far 🥳
⭐️Background music, needs being met and clear rest cues mean he can self-settle in his pen instantly

➡️ Next he needs to learn to settle when people are present, he's appreciating being the centre of attention right now 😀

Chance had a great first night. He slept in his crate on my bed even sleeping flat on his back at points (always a good sign of feeling safe and relaxed). He woke once to toilet and then resettled with a little quiet support close by.
Early crate training for me isn’t about independence at all costs it’s about helping puppies learn to regulate themselves. Feeling safe first is what allows them to build confidence and resilience over time.
Puppies need around 18–20 hours of sleep a day, and good rest is essential for emotional regulation, learning, and development. Supporting them to settle calmly is one of the best foundations we can give them 🐾💙

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know that, as mentioned previously might be the case, I won’t be returning to work until 12th January due to personal reasons.
Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding — it really does mean a lot. I’ll be back in touch before then to confirm walks and get everything back up and running.
