We’re onto Gold Scent Detection Week 2!

This week our dogs are learning a new scent profile, Truffle Oil! It would seem all 6 of them love the scent, and had no trouble in using their super-power to find and indicate where those Truffle scents were hidden.

Say hello to lovely Freddie 🧡
I saw this little man yesterday to work on his SUPER excited walks, he loves all dogs and people and he really wants to let you know that he does on walks. We went for a walk together so I could see his reactions and see what we could implement to help him and mum work better together. We talked about adding different things to the walk like a little training session and brining toys and after some work I think Freddie can manage to do much calmer greetings of dogs 🤪🥰🐶

Yesterday I saw this fabulous little lady called Talula, mum bought her as a full whippet but after having her at home for a little while she’s noticed a lot of staffy qualities and after a DNA test it turns out that’s what she is crossed with!😍 making this beautiful lady a bundle of energy 🤪 mum wanted a little bit of help knowing how to handle this because she is so overly social and wants to meet and jump up on everyone, we talked about lots of different options and mum left feeling a lot more confident she can help Talula in the best way possible 🥰🤎🐾

To our fab mantrailing teams out there! 🐾🐾🐕🐕

Apparently it's 'National Be A Good Teammate Day'...who knew?!

But, it did feel like a perfect opportunity to celebrate all of you wonderful handlers who show up at every trail, ready to step up and be the other part of the Mantrailing team your dog needs.

Although let's be honest with ourselves here, I'm sure if your dog could talk they would argue that they are the 'better' half 🤣

But still, give yourself a pat on the back for being the best teammate you can be, every. single. time! 👏

Here we go!!

Week 1 of our Gold Scent Detection course begins! With six of our excellent scent detectors getting their noses back into action, starting off by finding their Kong hides on our Human stooges.

A brilliant start to what is sure to be a most enjoyable 6 Weeks of new skills and new scents.
