This hot weather means our furry friends aren’t eating as much as they normally do. This is perfectly normal! Make sure that they have access to water and check their ears. If their ears are hot to the touch, it means they are hot. The best way to cool them down is to hold a cold wet towel to their toebeans. This will help to cool them down.

This afternoon I got some very sad news 😢. Charlie had been helped over the rainbow bridge because his heart was failing and he had a tumour in his mouth. He was 22 years old and had lived a good life. I met Charlie in the summer of 2022 and have lots of happy memories of our times together. His fur mum is devastated as am I. This is the worst part of my job. It comes with the territory sadly, but it doesn’t make it any easier. Fly free Charlie boy, you will be greatly missed 🪽🐈‍⬛🌈💔
