Hi everyone 👋🐾

I thought I’d do a little get to know me post! My name’s Katelyn and I’m the owner behind Short Bark and Sides ✂️🐶

I’m currently nearly qualified in dog grooming, and recently decided to take the huge leap of quitting my job in a school kitchen to fully focus on building my grooming journey! While I’m training, I’m offering grooms at a little training charge to help boost my confidence and experience — and it’s been amazing seeing your gorgeous dogs leave looking and feeling their best 🥰

At the moment, I’m grooming from my home extension while our garage gets a full makeover ready to become my dream grooming salon, which I’m so excited about! ✨

Alongside grooming, I also do dog walking for the lovely Ambers Rambles 🐕💛

When I’m not covered in dog hair, I’m busy being a wife and a mum to my toddler and looking after my 4 crazy dogs — so life is definitely a little chaotic, but I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world! 🐾🤎

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far, it really means everything. I can’t wait to continue growing Short Bark and Sides and meeting more of your lovely pups 🐶✨
