As reading week is approaching there will be no UMEC lessons during this time. This means that NO LESSONS will run on the 2nd of November. However, our next lesson will take place on the 9th of November. Please remember to book your lesson by the Sunday evening prior to the Wednesday💜

Are you an experienced rider who has a love for dressage and showjumping? Come trial out for our BUCS teams, A, B and Development. Must be able to jump a course and ride a dressage test! Due to the funeral of Her Majesty the Queen, the UoM sport Freshers Fair will now only take place on the 20th at the Armitage. Do you have a love for horses and want to make new friends? Want to join a sports club? Come say hey at the Fair! If you have any questions bring them along, cannot wait to see you all💜

Here at UMEC we are celebrating LGBT+ History Month! 🏳️‍🌈 Our committee members have all dressed up and created our colourful version of the rainbow flag for this years rainbow day! By celebrating rainbow day we as a club aim to show our commitment and support to LGBTQ+ people in sport and life!

Celebrating LGBT+ history aims to promote equality and diversity, increasing visibility and awareness of the history, lives and experiences of LGBT+ people.

UMEC have signed the LGBTQ+ sport Uni Pride pledge but we are always striving to do more and be better ally’s to support the LGBTQ+ community!
