The Pygmy Puffer Fish, only staying small at around 1” maximum are an unusual and characteristic fish, making them an intriguing oddball to own. You would preferably want to keep them in large groups to help reduce aggression between them. They are also best kept in a species only tank as the nickname in the hobby ‘murder beans’ best represents why not to keep them with other tank mates. Pygmy puffers can be fussy on foods so lots of frozen or live worms such as Bloodworm & Tubifex are best to keep them fat & healthy. We retail these in store at £4.50ea or 5for £20 with lots of nano setups and more available to accommodate them.
