Phoenix has been attending Hydrotherapy to help manage his arthritis in his hips. Phoenix's owners were thinking of adding Librella to help manage his condition but adding in the swimming to his regular pain meds we are now holding off. In the future it can be something they can look back into but for now he's doing Amazing. 🧡

This sweet boy is Toby 🧡

(From last months session)

Toby was referred to help manage his Elbow Dysplasia. When Toby first attended we started of with weekly sessions to help build muscle and help with any pain and inflammation he was was suffering from after 6 weeks we then dropped it down to fortnightly as Toby was doing amazing. Then for the fortnightly sessions we aimed for 6 weeks to see how he would get on AGAIN Toby had massively improved. We are now on once every 3 weeks to maintain as Toby is doing brilliant!!! Great reports back from his lovely owners he's moving well, hardly ever limps and the clicking in his joints you can barely hear now. Loving life ❤

Swimming is non weight bearing meaning a better range of movement can be achieved in the water. Flexing those elbow joints and extending in the warm pool water making it more comfortable for them. The resistance of the water makes building muscle around the affected joint easier and quicker. It also helps with any pain and inflammation they are suffering from and not only that a fun way for them to exercise.

The only issues I've had with Toby is trying to get him back out the pool when he's finished. He doesn't want it to end 😄😄😄.

Hi everyone

This beautiful older lady is Caley and her gorgeous sister who likes to monitor her sessions as you can see.

It's the little things we notice when they get older they can no longer do. So I was chuffed to hear that Caley was getting back on the Sofa herself something she hadn't done for month's. Her owners were very surprised. There's also more tail wagging which is just lovely to hear.
