Ecclesmachan - Field Closure

With the current, good old Scottish weather, we have taken the decision to close the Ecclesmachan field until further notice.

This is for the users safety and should help the ground to recover a your dogs to stay a bit cleaner.

Our 3 fields in Broxburn will remain open and are bookable in the usual manner.

If you have any future bookings at Ecclesmachan we will endeavour to contact you and arrange movement - should we miss you then please do not hesitate to let us know.

Unfortunately, a small minority of clients continue to disrespect our field facilities in Broxburn , which impacts other clients and their dogs.

As a small family run business, this is extremely disappointing and upsetting.

Broxburn Agility - despite continued checks, the volume of dog 💩 poo that isn’t being picked up is unacceptable - dedicated bins and also bags are provided for this use and we would appreciate it if clients could leave the field as they would wish to find it.

Scentral Park - the bistro set table has clearly been smashed ( evidence of stones in the vicinity) and broken glass everywhere - this is not only dangerous to both clients and their dogs but also totally disrespectful - we have more plans for the garden area but unfortunately as things get destroyed they will simply not be replaced thus impacting on all our clients experiences.

Can we please be kind to other users and respect our facilities!!

We are narrowing down the guilty parties and they will be stopped from using our services going forward!!

A Massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to date and also to Cara Irvine for organising the ‘Go Fund Me’ for us - every £ counts and if everyone who follows this page contributed just £1 we would hit our target.

As a small, family run business, we strive on providing top class facilities for our clients and their dogs and with the winter round the corner we would really like to replace the shelter that was so wrecklessly burnt to the ground by local youths.

We will personally match every £ raised.

Scentral Park and The Meadow all cut and looking amazing in the sunshine.

Was a very pleasant task cutting the grass today with the backdrop of Walter Dandie & Sons doing their amazing harvesting work in the field next door.

I could watch them all day 🚜 ☀️

CLOSURE OF THE MEADOW - Tuesday 22nd July.

Unfortunately due to vandalism, the Meadow has been closed with immediate effect and until the charred remains of the shelter can be removed and the area made safe for dogs and owners.

We have been made aware that several youths were seen in the vicinity of the field earlier this evening and we would ask if anyone has any further information to please get in touch with us directly.

A huge thanks to the local fire brigade for bringing the fire under control so quickly, what an absolute waste of time, money and resources.

Scentral Park all cut and looking lush as the sun sets in Broxburn.
