🐾🌧️ MUD, MAYHEM & MILITARY MANOEUVRES 🌧️🐾
Well, today was a VERY important day in Iris the puppy's life... she discovered PUDDLES! 💦
And who better to introduce her to this life-changing experience than Lenny, Ralph and Fig? Although "introduce" might be a strong word. Ralph and Lenny were busy hosting the World Mud Wrestling Championships, while Fig stood nearby pretending to be a cow and grazing around the puddle. 🐄😂
It didn't take much convincing for our little ginger ninja to dive straight in. Once. Then twice. Then approximately 437 more times. By the end, getting her OUT of the puddle became the real challenge! The boys have officially sold water to Iris, and she is now a fully paid-up member of the Mud Appreciation Society. 🤎💦
To make sure we were all equally soaked, the rain joined in too, leaving me with what can only be described as a spectacularly wet bottom. Thanks for that, everyone. 😅☔
Earlier in the day, our first walk turned into a full-scale military operation through the forest. Unfortunately, the ACTUAL army appeared to be training there, so our mission quickly became: Escape the Army! 🎖️🌲
With conditions tough and rations running low, Barney, Dudley, Bee and Cora took turns refuelling from tree stump water stations. Charlie, however, couldn't get a look in and was repeatedly barged out of the way. Poor Charlie! 😆
We'll just say Charlie was showing excellent leadership qualities and putting his troops first, as any good Sergeant would. 🫡
Despite the muddy battles, military manoeuvres and unexpected weather conditions, everyone had an absolute blast and headed home happy, tired and just a little bit filthy. Exactly how a dog walk should be! 🐾
