Sabrina graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in June 2025 and recently joined House & Jackson as an intern (a newly qualified vet). She is enjoying working with both the equine and small animal teams, learning from their vast experience and knowledge in all aspects of veterinary medicine to develop her skills.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, horses and chickens.

𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗- Another stray brought into us at our Blackmore Hospital!

White tortoiseshell, female cat has been brought in to us. She wandered into someone's conversatory in Old Crown Lane Lane (CM14). No microchip 🙁. It is difficult to say how old she is but approximately 2 - 4 years. She has a little wound on her head.

Our nurses can offer your older pet a free health check with the aim of spotting any potential issues before they become a problem. UPDATE - OWNER FOUND

Over night we had a dog brought into our Blackmore practice as a stray. He is a malinois, young and entire. He has a microchip but it is not registered. He was found on Mill Lane, High Ongar late last night.

He is a beautiful dog and very friendly and obedient. If you think he might be yours, please get in touch ASAP, as we need to call the dog warden shortly. 01277 823858

𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀!

Our Veterinary Nurse, Vikki, has recently completed her professional diploma in Canine and Feline Rehabilitation Therapy, and also a certificate in Electrophysical Therapies. This means we are now able to offer rehabilitation clinics consisting of massage, home exercises and laser therapy at the practice for any orthopaedic and neurological conditions, or even just strengthening for general fitness. Some of you may already know Vikki as one of our Hydrotherapy team.

Vikki will be holds a clinic on Thursday evenings from 4pm - 6:30pm at our Blackmore branch. In addition to the rehabilitation therapies she is able to provide, Vikki is also be able to offer nurse appointments such as 2nd vaccinations, Librela injections, Cytopoint injections, Solensia injections and nurse clinics such as dental and weight checks.
