We absolutely love the makeover that Matt and Jesse created in this post!

Another stunning example of how My-Fifo feed hoppers have helped to transform spaces.
Matt and Jesse replaced their old plastic feed bins with five of our My-Fifo 800 bins using divider panels to help create the extra storage compartments.

The hoppers look fantastic and shows how our design plays the vital role of First- in First-out feed rotation, protection and correct maintenance.

We loved seeing how well our hoppers complimented modern feed storage with the historic charm of the building.

A truely proud moment for us, showcasing perfectly how My-Fifo feed hoppers make a positive impact for animal loving customers just like you.

💧 𝗦𝗼𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 💧

Soaking hay is a useful way to reduce the water-soluble carbohydrate (WSC) or 'sugar' content, which is important for horses at risk of laminitis or those needing weight management. However, soaking can vary in its effectiveness, so it’s recommended to have your hay analysed for WSC levels using the wet chemistry method. Soaking should be used as a back-up, not a guarantee.

𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀:
▪️ As a guide, soak for 1-3 hours in warm weather (ambient temperature 16°C and above) and 6-12 hours in cold weather.
▪️ Make sure your hay is fully submerged in the water.
▪️Use fresh water for every soak.
▪️Due to the loss of nutrients (and therefore dry matter) into the water, each slice of hay will contain more water and less ‘hay’ post soaking. As a practical guide, increase the amount of hay you soak by 20% to compensate.
▪️Steaming has little effect on WSC levels. Although not a practical solution for all owners, soaking followed by steaming (in a commercial steamer) helps to achieve the best of both worlds if you are trying to reduce the level of ‘sugar’ in your hay and improve hygienic quality.

So... Rupert isn't convinced our super micro hopper will store much of his daily food portions! But he rests easy knowing that he won't be getting any stale feed, or any bothering from pesky rats! 😌😌😌

We got a 3D model printed and it's such an excellent process to watch. These will be placed around the country at your local feed stores. If you find one, quote the Store and receive a 5% discount off your order 👍
