One of my favourite afternoons! Teams Orlando and Charlie first progression session- already giving indications and taking junctions- both completed 250m trails 💥 team Ayla smashed their level 2 mock- not long till the real one 💥💪 and we welcomed back Piper from
Maternity leave who trailed a split trail like she’d never been away 😃 Four awesome teams- and we had puppy play with Vibe who will be joining them soon 🤞

With the owners permission we got to search these babies today in scent detection class 🚜🚜 three tractors 5 mins 6 hides

My grandad used to love watching me watch “friends” 👯👯‍♀️👯‍♂️For the simple reason he loved to see me laugh and smile. I got to do this with my clients today. Loved watching them smiling working their dogs and the dogs loving searching some new and interesting things! Pure magic ✨ pure endorphins 🪄 pure dopamine 🧚 pure serotonin 🧞‍♂️

🦠 KENNEL COUGH 🦠

If your dog has been spending time with other dogs and now has a cough that sounds like either a goose honking or something is stuck in their throat, then it’s possible that they may have Kennel Cough.

🦠 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 🦠

🔹Kennel Cough is a type of infection that usually causes a persistent hacking cough that can sound like a goose’s honk
🔹If you think your dog is affected then you should phone your vet for advice
🔹Kennel Cough is not dangerous to most dogs, but can be more serious to young puppies, older dogs and dogs with underlying health conditions
🔹Most healthy dogs are able to recover on their own without any veterinary treatment but always contact your vet if your concerned about your dog
🔹Kennel Cough is highly contagious and if your dog is affected then you should keep them away from other dogs
🔹You can ask your vet about vaccinating your dog against kennel cough, especially if your dog regularly spends time with lots of dogs from different households. This may also be required if your dog stays in kennels or visits a doggy day-care

Your dog’s appearance is one the most obvious indicators of his or her wellbeing. Learning to recognise the signs of sensitive skin early means that you can help your pet to overcome the problem sooner.

If your dog is scratching or licking excessively then it’s time to contact your vet to get an accurate diagnosis and find suitable treatment as soon as possible. If left untreated, skin conditions or dog skin allergies are likely to worsen and cause your pet more distress in the long run

Mantrailing morning!
Lots and lots of
Contamination today for the dogs to problem solve their way through! Ayla did a lovely split start, followed by a delayed trail with no instructor assistance 💥 Harry did a double blind which we missed right at the end due to some dropped food 🤦‍♀️ he then did a trail with lots of road crossings which clever Harry managed to short cut. Nice morning thanks teams

Tonight we welcomed team Charlotte and Theo and his first urban session which he took to naturally. Worked
On his indication and understanding how to work junctions- great session! Noodle aced both her trails- she’s on fire 🔥 first time for a short blind trail for Julie which she worked lovely, and Noodles worked hard acrosss open field in the wind with lots of distractions! 🏏🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Alinta we worked on getting her nose down rather than trying to air scent and be visual. Hopefully this will reduce her over arousal as she is a super working dog 💪
