Our small animal clinics provide a professional, friendly and personal service in modern, superbly equipped premises. Our vets provide a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments especially our newly added Stem Cell Therapy. To assist in prompt and accurate diagnosis our clinic is equipped with a laboratory, digital x-ray, ECG, ultrasound and endoscopy.

Talking pesky parasites in cats 🪱 🐈

Cats can get roundworm and tapeworm by accidentally eating their eggs, and it’s important to take preventative treatment by giving them a regular wormer.

Symptoms of worms include:

🐈 Weight loss
🐈 Eating more
🐈 Diarrhoea
🐈 Tapeworm segments (which look like grains of rice) in your cat’s poo

May is Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month!
🐶🐱🐰🐑🐄🦜🐾

The nursing team here at Greenside have been very busy but we didn’t want the month to end before saying hello!

Day to day, most of our time is spent behind the scenes working to provide the best care for our patients. Taking and processing blood samples, monitoring anaesthesia, taking radiographs, scaling and polishing teeth and providing cosy and comfy recovery environments are just some of the important jobs our nursing team are responsible for.

As well as this, the nursing team offer many different types of consultations. You will see one of our nurses for your pet’s check up after their operations, for their second vaccinations, to bandage wounds and carry out health checks. We also offer consults for advice on weight management, confidence building (if your dog gets worried about coming to the vets!) and many more!
