After losing our wee Nico and Susie being quite upset and out of sorts, we thought that getting back to our normal walkies and daycare/boarding routines would be good for everyone.

Day 3… not one but both vans decided to play up and we were confined to barracks 😳 not ideal.

We are super lucky to have the best doggies and their owners who were flexible as we chopped and changed our plans. And especially Loki and her family who had gone on holiday and offered us the use of their fab garden for our play dates - Susie absolutely loves Loki’s garden so this also cheered her up 😍.

Our first two days back. Three play dates under our walking belt.

Our wonderful regulars were absolute superstars and made things as easy as possible for me and Susie Doodle. Particularly our Thursday morning “special” play date which was Nico’s favourite morning.

We love our play dates 💕 we always have since our very first ones at Scentral Park. They are our favourite times and we think they bring out the very best in all of us - doggies & humans. And when we’re sad or not feeling our best, our groups just seem to lift us in ways we never thought possible 💕💔🐾

We recently had some drop ins for Lovely Loki, which Miss Susie Doodle normally does (and I assist). While she was here on her holidays, Heffie came along too as they are old walkies buddies. They had a great time catching up.

And one day, the whole band reformed when Miss Jura Watters joined in too!

My glamorous assistant here is demonstrating a Doggie Hamper that we pulled together as a raffle prize for the Sophie’s Story Race Night being held by Avoch AFC tomorrow.

I’ve attached a pic with a list of the contents (over £100 worth) including a £20 voucher donated by Julie & Donald from WaggTail Woods.

There are loads of other brilliant raffle prizes available too (also listed).

Here’s some of our adventures during March. Susie Doodle has been taking part in March for Migraine raising raising awareness on behalf of the Migraine Trust in her own way…. posing and walking with her pals 📸 🐾

Wearing her bandana with pride (and very little complaint it has to be said 😇) she clocked up 132 miles and raised £165 in sponsorship 👏👏

We all set the MT’s social media alight every day with our updates. So thank you to all our walkies, daycare and boarding pals who joined in 🐾💕🐾

It’s been the Doggie Aid Challenge week of Doddie Aid25 so Susie Doodle has been busier than usual posing with her pals during our walkies & play dates so we could record and upload lots of fun to raise awareness of this great campaign. Everyone rose to the challenge wonderfully 🙌🙌

We’ve had all our usual pals here for walkies, play dates and daycare, plus Susie did a drop-in visit for her friend 🐶 Loki.

We’ve also had walkies pals 🐶Maisie, 🐶Brodie and 🐶Banjo along with regular visitors 🐶Bailey & Cooper for sleepovers

Our Story

We are Mike and Dianne Keavey, and along with Susie and Nico, we offer home boarding and other pet services from our lovely home in the village of Culbokie in the Black Isle, just north of Inverness.

We provide exceptional, loving and fun care in a home environment for your dog when you cannot be there. Our aim is for you to be able to go on holiday or go to work and not feel worried or guilty about leaving your dog behind.

Susie and Nico are well socialised and friendly dogs. Nico is a rescue from Eastern Europe so we have experience in dealing with the issues which these dogs may have. We have had Susie since she was a puppy, and have had previous puppies too, and we have looked after several elderly dogs with complex medical histories. So you can be assured that if your beloved pet has any special requirements, we will be able to give him or her the one-to-one special care that they may need.
