💞🐾 🌈 Mr Banjo 🌈🐾💞

This post has been one of the hardest to put together and has taken a long time to complete. A couple of weeks ago we said our final goodbye to our biggest and best boy, Banjo. Fifteen years of nonsense, happy smiles, truffle scoffing and veg rouletting.

Banjo was our pal, our neighbour and Nico’s BFF (big brother actually). Banj was our first “walkies” dog when we were initially just doing boarding. He started going walkies with Nico when Susie went out with the bigger group. As time went on he became ensconced in the BIPS gang - he’d even turned up at our door one evening unannounced 🤣 obvs our craic was so much better than that at No 12 😉).

So we shared 8 glorious years with Mr B Snr - what a privilege it was. He was out with the gang a few days before he left us and he was enjoying himself as normal. We had over 600 pics that we had to whittle down from his time with us - included here are pics with Susie & Nico on his very first days with us, and his very last week of walkies with the gang. The pics here show how happy he was all the time and what a special boy he was.

Uncle Mike, Susie Doodle and I (aka “The Doggers” 😂) share Joanne, Alex, Gran (with her never ending supply of tea biscuits), Kate and all the family’s loss and heartbreak - he really was one in a million 🥰🥰

Lots of smiley faces and sunny walkies with the usual gang and with Happy Hamish and Lovely Luna who were here for their holidays (as well as a wee sleepover for our walkies pal Mr Banjo) 🐾🐶🐾

We were celebrating the long-awaited return of our Mr Brodie Bobs to our walkies gang last week - he’d been off since before Christmas after he needed a wee operation on his ear. Just look at his happy smile in the first pic 😁😁

Lots of other fun walkies & play dates in a variety of weather ☀️ ☔️ ❄️ with the usual crew plus Caddy, Buddy and Winston who were visiting us for sleepovers 💤

Susie Doodle ended the week “out of town” visiting family in Aberdeen. She had a lovely time 😊🐾

We’ve had a fun week with our walkies and daycare pals - very much helped by the fact that most days we were expecting rain and it didn’t come 👏👏 well until Friday and we got snow instead 🤣

Our pal May joined us for walkies after being off since before Christmas - she’s had a sore tail. She’s much better and it’s great having her back with us 🥰

We also had regular visitors Hamish, Buddy and Caddy join us for sleepovers

Well Susie promised she would keep up her New Year’s resolution to post our pics from walkies and playdates every few days….. that not worked out quite as planned! 🙄

She claims she has been very busy with her DoddieAid 26 commitments (lots of her pics are here). Especially the “Doggie Aid Challenge” which went down a storm.

But meanwhile she’s been letting her admin slip! So we’re playing catchup again 🙄😬

We were delighted to finally have Miss Selkie back with us after a long sabbatical. Happy to say she’s on great form 🥰

We’ve also had Heffie, Breagha, Winston and Banjo with us for sleepovers as we our boarding underway for 2026 💤 🐶

Welcome to some new BIPpers on the Block - Pip, Thistle and Ruby M have joined our gang for Play Dates and walkies. Absolutely nailing the posing already 😍😍

Pip & Thistle are joining our Thursday play date gang and they have fitted right in - we thing Pip is a bit of a Sansa doppelgänger and she’s also quite like her in nature, especially when she first joined us. A bit shy but slowly coming out of her shell. Thistle is a wee pocket rocket and a bundle of fun. But hates the rain 🫣

Ruby M is a fellow Cherry Wynder 🙌 and is joining us for playdates and walkies just now but will be with us for day care soon. She absolutely loves her zoomies. 💞

💞🐾 Chridhe & Sansa 🐾💞

This is another post that’s taken way too long to finish 😔. We’re still coming to terms with the fact that our favourite curly wurly teeny weenies, Chridhe (Cree) and Sansa have departed for a land far away with mum Kirsty.

Cree & Sansa joined us initially for play dates at the Park back in 2022 when Sansa was a wee scaredy cat (the initial pics here are from their very first days with us). It’s been a wonderful privilege to see her confidence grow, initially with meeting and having fun with other dogs, and then being brave enough, along with Cree to join us, off lead, on big walkies. They both absolutely loved our Woodies with Magical Powers and our trips to Guatemala, Mexico and Texas (if you know you know 😜😜😜).

Cree had an extended period of injury which resulted in her spending lots of daycare time with Uncle Mike which seemed to go down a storm 😍

As per, there was a ridiculous amount of pics to work through. Been fun and sad in equal measure - a timely reminder of how much fun we’ve all had AND what great fun our wee Nico had with these two girlies. I think he had a lot more to do with helping Sansa’s confidence than we realised 💖💖

We still see Sansa’s sisters Daisy & Maddie for occasional walkies and boarding and we look forward to seeing Cree & Sansa when they visit, hopefully soon.

Meantime we wish them lots of love and happy walkies with mum Kirsty in their new adventures with Joe and their four legged housemates Max & Millie 💞🐾

💞Mr Buttons💞

It’s taken a very long time to write this post. It’s been started and abandoned so many times….

We lost our Best Boy Buttons just before Christmas. Although he’d been poorly for quite a while, he’d soldiered on, smiled through and so convinced us that he was going to go on forever 😢.

His mum Louise maintained all along that he was a wee rascal, but from the get-go he was my wee Angel! 😇 He literally threw himself into walkies and play dates (which generally meant into puddles, mud, bogs, burns …anything manky & disgusting 🤢) and his smile & his cheeky glint in his eye were absolutely infectious.

To be honest he was completely bonkers but in the best way! He was the best craic and he never had a crossed word with any other dog on walkies or on his many sleepovers. He was the perfect guest.

As per usual there were so many photos ….. these are some of his highlights.

To Louise, Mark & Christopher, we share your loss so deeply. He really was a one-off 💞

Susie Doodle has a New Year’s resolution to remember to post some pics of our weekly fun! Let’s see how long she keeps it up….

First week back for us and our pal Miss Heffie was also our first boarder of 2026 🥰🥰 with Mr Zachy our first day care 😍😍

Poor Mr Brodie Bobs has had a wee operation so he’s not back with us for walkies yet😢😢

The eagle eyed will notice a certain doodle becoming less hairy as the week goes on…. t’was groomies week😬😬 thus far we are still clean and smelling lovely 🙌🙌
