Today's rant:

I look after dogs not 'fur-babies'

Your dog isn't a baby-it's a dog- a domesticated animal with 42 apex predator teeth!
Treating dogs like babies creates anxiety, bad habits and confusion. Your dog requires boundaries, exercise and leadership - not molly coddling and baby talk.
This doesn't mean you can't love them but part of loving them is respecting them for what they are . If you don't you may end up with a very confused , demanding canine with poor impulse control and separation anxiety 🤷.

So, if you message me asking if I can walk your fur-babies, don't be surprised that my answer is 'no, but I can walk your dogs' ;)

🎉 10 Years of Dog Walks, Muddy Paws (plenty of fox poo!) & Heartfelt Thanks 🎉

This month marks 10 years since I started Town and Country Dogs — and what a journey it’s been!

Through sunshine, storms, and even a global pandemic , we have kept those tails wagging and paws moving!
Now, I am no Carol Vorderman but I can tell you I have totalled over 3,600 walks (over 14 million steps!) and picked up roughly 24,000 poos 💩 (the glamorous side of the job, right? -you're welcome 😅).

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 75 incredible dogs — some still with me today, some who’ve moved away, some who grew old and passed on, and a few who were taken far too soon....yes, I remember each and every one! 🐾

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to care for your beloved dogs. Your loyalty and kindness have meant everything and I feel really lucky to have such amazing clients. Here's to many more miles,wagging tails and happy hounds ( and probably a ton more fox poo! 🥴) 🐕🐾

Happy Birthday to Pedro who is 8 today!! I started walking this lovely lad when he was 6 months old . We have had so much fun together and he is an absolute pleasure to walk, although I'm sure one or two of my grey hairs are your fault Pedro! ... (I won't mention the sock or the stick incident here🥴🫣) . A great part of the Town and Country Dog team, I hope we have many more years to come ❤️.

Hi all, just a reminder please to keep up to date with flea treatments, they love this warm weather! As you all know by now, my own dog,Taz, has a nasty flea allergy and requires steroid treatment if he gets bitten. I also recommend spraying your house too if you see evidence of fleas to break the cycle (indorex is very good ).

Hurray! I'm back! 🍾

As some of you may be aware, my Facebook was hacked a couple of months ago. I lost my personal page (along with all my photos!) and access to my business page!
After doing some digging and contacting the action fraud police team, it appears everything has finally been restored!
I apologise to anyone who has tried to message me through this page but I haven't been able to receive any messages at all.
More Town and Country dog photos and posts to come in the following days I think... I have some catching up to do! 😁

Just popped on to make a quick recommendation. I have been giving this to my boys for a couple of weeks now and have really noticed a difference, especially in my old jrt who is 13 and has started slowing up. He has become brighter in himself, more mobile in his joints and has an increased appetite. No particular company for the salmon oil ( in fact, I think this one was just from Amazon 🤷) . The bone broth is from a local company called honest and good ( I also get my (human) bone broth from them. Just worth a try if you have an old pet who is slowing up :)
