What an amazing amount you guys raised today!

50p Friday total was £1750 🥳

We paid off Kiki’s c-section bill via bank transfer today so that was £2000 sent via bank transfer.
Just one more bill to cover with only £900 left to go!

We can’t thank you enough.

Lots of anonymous people donated larger amounts and so did our local Kitty Angels (Susan) who do a great job looking after your cats when you are away.

Little rescuer is pooped after a day on holiday but she has chosen her favourite picture from today’s international cat day post and she will announce this tomorrow morning. Thank you for sharing so many lovely pictures of new cats we have never seen and also lots of familiar faces.

‼️🐾 50p Friday 🐾‼️

We urgently need help to pay our vet bills (in photos) in order to keep helping.

We have never been in this position where we are so so far away from covering our bill. Something always saves us but it’s getting harder and harder to maintain the momentum of supporting around 100 cats at a time. We know people are struggling financially which just means more cats left needing help too 💔

We have been helping as many cats as we can and took Panda in with the poorly skin and Kiki recently because they desperately needed urgent care. Both would be suffering if we hadn’t helped them but we can’t keep doing this with no adoptions.

We owe £1928 for Kiki’s c section to save her and her two babies and she and them are doing so so well now.
We also owe £1940 for our normal vets.
We have £1100 in the bank so we need to raise £2768 which we know is impossible 💔

It would have been more manageable but all of last week’s 50p Friday went on trying to save Cinnamon who we sadly lost 🌈

Both Kiki and her babies are doing so so well and piling on weight! Also Panda’s skin is improving too and she has a check up later so we will do an update on that gorgeous girl.

We aren’t closing forever but it could take a couple of months to get this cost down and it will really hurt us not to help any cats until late September. There are zero spaces in other rescues too so we can’t even get the cats the help that they may need.

Just today we had emails and messages about a cat who is skinny and living in a garden, a cat whose owner has gone into care and some stray kittens living outside.

Please don’t guilt us (people sadly do) or wonder why we aren’t running out to every cat in need. It is heartbreaking wondering what happened to the cats from the Facebook posts, the ones in the emails and the desperately needed spaces we get messaged about.

Kanga in her new home. Finally this lovely girl has found her forever home 💖

Their owner sadly gets put into temp accommodation start of next week and these girls have no where to go.

We have asked every rescue we know and nothing confirmed yet. 💔

We are running out of time

⭐️ ADOPT US⭐️ AUGUST OFFER

We already make a loss on our adoptions as the average cat costs us much more than £120 but we have decided to do an offer for August only as so many of our cats need homes.

⭐️If you adopt a pair - it will be £200 for both cats or kittens.

What’s included:
- neutering (adults already done) and kittens done at our vets when old enough
- microchip
- first vac and health check done with some cats being fully vaccinated already

We really need to find homes for these babies with lots of them with us for over 6 months and some nearly a year.

An application and home check will always be completed.
We may want adoptions but only suitable homes will be accepted as the cats come first.

💔I’m not sure how much more heartbreak we can take.
We were asked help two females and 4 kittens 2 weeks ago and Abi trapped them all and has been caring for them.

Yesterday one of the mums, Cinnamon, became lethargic and couldn’t stand. She was rushed to the out of hours vet and put on fluids with no improvement at all. We did bloods this morning and her kidneys were not functioning at all. They believe she may have been poisoned a while ago and it’s been slowly killing her as she was very slim on arrival and had not been gaining weight as quickly as we had liked.

The vet said that the damage was irreversible and that we had no other option than to put to sleep.

We are heartbroken and foster mum Abi is devastated.
We think all the others from the family are ok and are being monitored closely but we have no reason to think they have been affected by this.

Fly high Cinnamon 🌈 we are so sorry that we couldn’t save you.

All of the funds we raised for 50p Friday went on helping cinnamon so we unfortunately are back in the same boat.

Please consider that we are not able to help any other cats for a while so your hopeful tags in every post in Telford may not end with us being able to help and every no is heartbreaking.
We are people behind this and we are doing our best.
