Another great day here hosting British Showjumping today!

Lots of new faces today, Juniors, seniors & some club competitors giving around 130 entries.

It's been a busy time at Ponderosa with us hosting British Showjumping, British Dressage, Unaffiliated events & also hosting the Pony Club area qualifier show for Monmouthshire Pony Club.

-Remember, our venue is open to being hired for Equestrian events & also Dog Agility/Shows and similar. Please feel free to get in touch with enquiries.

Upcoming events at Ponderosa for this month include the following;

-Sat 5th July- Junior & Club BS inc. 128, 138 & JC Small Grand Prix
-Sun 6th July- Junior, Senior & Club British Show Jumping

-Sat 19th July- Club Junior, C1 & Club British Show Jumping

It's worth mentioning that although we are in Wales, our close proximity to the Prince of Wales Bridge & English side of the border means that the majority of our competitors actually travel from England to compete.

If you live in England, we are probably a lot closer than you think being just 1.6 Miles from Junction 24 M4. Please checkout the attached drive radius map to see if we are within 1 hour & 30 minutes of you!..

We are shortly going to be offering a limited number of competition livery spaces for those looking to be based at one of Wales' premier show centres with training available on site.

Finishing prep for our Senior category 1 British Showjumping show tomorrow, followed by club/unaffiliated in the afternoon.

Over 120 entries for tomorrow’s show, we are looking forward to an enjoyable days jumping.

WickedPixs Photography will be in attendance so check that out for photos after the event.

There is a road closure/diversion in place but please continue to the venue as normal as it doesn’t apply for the Horseboxes. (Check website for directions if you are new to the venue).

Following on from the event, we will have a full course of fences up & available to hire.

Also, we have a water jump setup to practice for second rounds coming up.

And that’s a wrap for 2024!..

Another great mixed Junior/Category 1 show today, lots of new faces in attendance from the English side of the border so thank you to those for giving us a try, if you’re in the West of England, Ponderosa is a lot closer than you may think!..

Our next BS shows aren’t until the end of Jan (Senior / Club Sunday 26th & Cat 2 Wednesday 29th).

Big well done to Megan Betteridge & Pépite D’or for winning the Blue chip diamond qualifier yesterday at Ponderosa.

Our next show is Cat 2 (inc club & unaff) on Wednesday 13th November, in the meantime the main arena has a full course up & available to hire, bookings can be made on our website.
