**Discovery Second Round**
31 Competitors came forward to contest Kevin Bulls’ Love Nupafeed Discovery Second Round course at Ponderosa Equestrian Centre on Sunday.
With the standard very high, 23 riders progressed to the second round and 19 to the third and final round.
With many riders opting for a steady treble clear, the final line of a water tray to vertical proved influential with several faulting at the last.
Not so for the winner - 20 year old Honey Vooght from Devon, who obviously had the winner’s rug in her sights!
Partnering her first proper competition horse, the 7 year old Emerald gelding Cicerald, who Honey has been riding for a year, the pair flew round to jump treble clear and won the class.
Second place went to Heidi Ford (ATMs Chacoas Uno), with Third place sealing a fantastic weekend for Laura Kirkham (Claro Van de Saffelberg Z) who won the Ariat British Novice Second Round at Ponderosa the previous day.
A further 7 combinations jumped treble clear to qualify for the final.
