Welcome Wednesday at Sitting Pretty 🐾

This week, I was pleased to welcome Sophia, a beautiful Labrador who visited us yesterday for her first grooming appointment. Sophia received a soothing bath, a thorough deshedding treatment, and a consultation for teeth cleaning. She was a joy to have in the salon, and I look forward to seeing her again for her next appointment!

Please note:
The salon will be closed from Thursday, July 31st, and will reopen on Tuesday, August 5th. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming clients back after the short break.

🐾 Another special meet me Monday as its Sitting Pretty's Birthday! 8 Years of Trust, Growth, and Grateful Hearts 🐾

Today marks 8 years since I took a leap with a van, a dream, and baby Chief riding shotgun. Looking back at where it all began fills me with so much gratitude for this journey and everyone who’s been part of it.

To my loyal customers who have trusted me with their beloved dogs year after year – thank you. You’ve allowed me to build a business that’s rooted in care, connection, and love for what I do. And to all my newer clients – I’m so thankful you’ve chosen me to be part of your dogs’ lives.

🦴 A Few Things I Recommend for Your Dog’s Health & Happiness 🐾

Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of dog products—some great, some... not so great. But there are a few items I keep coming back to because they actually work and make life better for both me and my dogs.

Whether it’s grooming tools like a slicker brush and comb (total game changers for managing coat health), a short-haired dog comb (if your pup sheds like mine!), joint support to keep them moving comfortably, or even seaweed powder to help naturally clean their teeth—these are things I genuinely use and recommend.

I’ve also included a conditioning spray I love, a mega-absorbent towel for bath days, and a vitamin/mineral powder I use daily with my own dogs for all-round wellness. 💛
