🦴 A Few Things I Recommend for Your Dog’s Health & Happiness 🐾

Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of dog products—some great, some... not so great. But there are a few items I keep coming back to because they actually work and make life better for both me and my dogs.

Whether it’s grooming tools like a slicker brush and comb (total game changers for managing coat health), a short-haired dog comb (if your pup sheds like mine!), joint support to keep them moving comfortably, or even seaweed powder to help naturally clean their teeth—these are things I genuinely use and recommend.

I’ve also included a conditioning spray I love, a mega-absorbent towel for bath days, and a vitamin/mineral powder I use daily with my own dogs for all-round wellness. 💛

This week, we’ve got a very special helper in the salon – meet my daughter Sophia! 💖

Sophia is joining me all week for her school work experience, and she’s already proving to be a natural with our furry clients! 🛁🐶 She’ll also be lending a hand with bathing during the summer holidays, so if you see her around, be sure to say hi! 👋

It’s such a joy to share my passion for dog grooming with her and watch her learn the ropes. We’re all about family here – and that includes your pups! 🐾💦

🌡️ Hot Weather Update for Our Furry Clients 🐶✂️

With the warm weather here, we want to reassure you that our salon is fully air-conditioned and a cool, comfortable space for your dogs during their groom. All appointments will be going ahead as usual.

To help keep everyone safe:
🚗 Please avoid walking to the salon in high temperatures — traveling by car is safest.
⏰ Arrive on time to avoid waiting around in the heat. If I’m running slightly behind, please wait in your car if it has air conditioning.
☀️ If your car doesn’t have air con and you don’t feel it’s safe to bring your dog, just let me know — we’ll happily reschedule.

These guidelines apply on any day the temperature reaches 24°C or above. Thank you for helping keep all our furry friends safe and cool! 💙🐾

🐾 Welcome Wednesday at Sitting Pretty! 🐾

Another week of fresh faces, wagging tails, and some seriously satisfying transformations! ✨

🌟 Dora the Beagle x Spaniel enjoyed a relaxing bath, full deshed, and a teeth clean – she left looking shiny, smooth, and smiling wide! 🛁🦷

🌟 Joy the Cocker Spaniel had her full groom, and I made sure to keep her signature wig just as her owners love it. A first teeth clean, too, and she was looking and feeling fabulous! 💖🐶

🌟 Monty & Minnie These two cockapoos absolutely stole the show. Their groom brought out their sweet little faces, and I loved how their owners wanted their heads styled – just too cute! 😍✂️

Thanks to these gorgeous pups – I'm already looking forward to the next round of glow-ups! 💕🐾
