Who remembers sweet Snoopy, who now has the magnificent name of Prince Louis? He is the little dog with hearing loss, visual impairment and neurological issues who went to live in Cornwall with Debbie and little Lexi, who is also deaf. We get regular updates and he is making fantastic progress and what a milestone he has achieved! From reacting to strangers and generally finding the world a scary place to being able to take part in a village dog show!

I've had him for 10 weeks now and I'm so proud of Prince Louis. I took him to a local village fete on Monday, and he was very well behaved despite lots of people and dogs, a lady on stilts blowing giant bubbles, children running around, and people on mobility scooters. He even let the judge in the dog show gently pet him - remarkable considering a few weeks ago he was barking loudly at any person he didn't know - and he won third in best rescue and third in most handsome dog. When we got home it wasn't long before he was fast asleep in his favourite place behind the sofa.

He's still a work in progress with regard to fast moving things such as cars, joggers and cyclists but wow! Well done Prince Louis.

More news from gorgeous Gus this week He's such a character!

Hi
Time to check in again. Wow been so busy lately. I had another trip up North to see my new friends again. I'm loving the car rides, was told my ears are so big they will block out the sun ☀️
I met some horses & was a good boy. I'm working on my social skills, still not happy with other dogs but getting there. Hope you like the photos, be in touch soon.

Love Gus

There's nothing better than getting an update like this! Beautiful Juno living a wonderfully happy life and enriching the lives of her lovely family.

Hello,
I hope this email finds you well.
We adopted our dog Juno from your centre in March this year, and I want to begin by saying how grateful we are for your support in the rehoming process. Juno has settled into our home beautifully and has quickly become the heart of our family. She is calm, gentle, and full of character – we truly couldn’t have asked for a better companion. She is a very happy and chilled little girl who loves her toys and walks and a snooze in her bed. I’ve attached a few of our favourite photos of her. She’s currently doing some off lead and recall training!
Thank you all again for the opportunity to rehome Juno. Our lives wouldn’t be the same without her!

Best,
Gaby , Alex and of course, Juno (aka Juniper, Juni, Junibear, Junibella…)

***** Bedding Appeal *****

We are almost out of sheets, duvet covers, towels and bath mats. We have enough large dog blankets but need more small cat blankets. If you have any of these items spare, we would be very grateful if you could drop them off at the shelter any day between 10.30 and 4. Thank you! 👍

(Please note, we don't use duvets, pillows or cushions.)

***** Scratching Post Appeal *****

Paul, our cattery manager, is desperate for more scratching posts for the cats in his care. Do you have any that your cat no longer uses? We prefer bigger ones like the one in the picture but we will gratefully accept any type. They can be dropped off at the shelter any day between 10.30 and 4.

Thank you so much! 🐈‍⬛🐈

A huge thank you to Gordon and his team at Pets Corner Haywards Heath for the van load of donations that inspector Tony kindly delivered to us today. Puppy Nefario says: "Wow! Is all that for little me?"
We also want to thank the Pets Corner branches at Burgess Hill, Brighton Racecourse and Preston Park who also give us regular donations of all sorts of goodies for our animals. Thank you all for supporting your local RSPCA. It is greatly appreciated. 😍👍
