Just a gentle reminder...

We are a family just like most of you, so we totally understand if your plans change.

But please remember that at this time of year we are very full. There are lots of cats that we have to disappoint.
If you can't make a booking we would appreciate a heads up in reasonable time, so that we can pass that space on to someone who needs it.

We are also a small business and, again, like any other family we have bills to pay.

Unfortunately we have had one customer not turn up today. They have made no contact at all, and seem now to have blocked us from contacting them after we called to check if they were OK.

Thankfully that is something that happens very rarely, but it makes us sad when it does happen because we really do try our best to be as kind and accommodating as possible.

We know most of you are lovely and appreciate us as much as we appreciate you though and we are eternally grateful to all of you

Hello from all of us here at Abi's.
We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a fab new year.

As much as we hate having to raise prices I'm afraid we have got to the point where we have no choice. Everything else has gone up so much that raising our prices in line has become the only way we can afford to keep going.

So as of January 1st 2025, the price for one cat will be £12 per day.

However we have slightly altered our pricing structure for multiple cats from one household sharing.
So while the first cat will be £12 per day, each additional cat sharing one chalet will be £6 per day (up to and including 4 cats sharing one family chalet).
This means that multiple cats' prices stay the same or in some cases actually are slightly reduced.
All discounts still remain in place as always.

Unfortunately this little boy is not microchipped, so we don't have any idea where he has come from.
I'm still sure he is too friendly and healthy not to have someone taking care of him. He needs to find his people. Please help us and him by sharing this post as much as possible.

The cat distribution system has done it again!!

This little boy just showed up outside our catio.
He is grey and white with faint tabby ghosting in the grey. Approximately 5 months old (ish). Full tom.

He looks healthy and well cared for, and is very friendly, so obviously someone's pet. But he is very dirty and quite hungry, so I am guessing he's probably wandered a few miles off course. Maybe Kirton End? I don't know.

He is safe and warm in the cattery for tonight. We will take him for a chip check first thing tomorrow morning.

This is precisely why we don't have a card machine.

The bank even charges us to pay in cash and cheques!

Monthly bank charges are more than what we pay for rubbish collection!
