We are looking for full-time Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our day team.
One of the team is planning maternity leave which will be covered by this post but we’re offering a permanent position because we’re fortunate to be an expanding practice! If applicants would prefer temporary posts, we’re happy to consider that too.

This position is ideal for nurses who have an interest in pre, peri and post-surgical patient care, alongside exceptional client care. Additional training for our varied surgical caseload will be provided where required.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and grow within a dynamic and supportive team. You will be involved in a variety of essential duties including analgesia, fluid therapy, surgical assistance, diagnostic imaging, wound care, and laboratory procedures. In addition, you'll play a key role in maintaining surgical equipment and supporting the care of our medicine cases. This position offers hands-on experience across a broad clinical spectrum, making it ideal for those looking to deepen their knowledge, take on new challenges, and develop a well-rounded career in referral veterinary medicine.

We are creating an environment where nurses feel valued and engaged in the practice. Clinical development and a team approach to constantly improve standards will be encouraged for all members of the team.
Ongoing CPD will be encouraged and if any nurses have a desire to study for a further qualification this will be supported.

Salary ranging from £29,800 - £34,320 depending on experience and contracted hours.

We have reached the end of our first week at Cùmath Pet Surgeons. We would like to thank all the pet owners who have entrusted us with their pet’s care, and the primary care vets who recommended us to treat their cases.

The support we have received is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank our new team, who have worked hard to allow this week to run very smoothly. Everyone has contributed to set a high standard of care at every step of the referral process.

We look forward to meeting new patients over the upcoming weeks.
