🐾 Pregnancy Announcement 🐾

I am very pleased to say Astra is pregnant with Drake, and puppies are expected to arrive in 28 days!

I have been looking forward to Astra becoming a mum as she has helped to raise all of our puppies as well as puppy Willow and the pack members that followed. She has strong maternal instincts and has played a truly valuable role in socialising our puppies. She has demonstrated this when people have visited to meet our puppies and it has warmed my heart every time someone mentioned how incredible Astra is. Seeing Astra gently interact with puppies, correct them, break up little playfights, and her attempts at curling up with them in their small beds make a lasting impression.

Astra's calm, loving manner stands out and her two favourite things in this world are puppies and humans. It is going to be special seeing her with her own puppies ❤️

Drake is naturally calm and laidback so it will be very interesting to get to know their puppies.

Our puppy visitors will meet Astra, the puppies, Drake, the puppies' half-sisters- Eden and Alaska as well as the other pack members 🥰

It will be a new experience for us to have larger puppies in the house. After a mild panic, wondering how I can effectively socialise the puppies out of the home, I have a solid plan, and I am looking forward to our adventures 🐾

We have had a day full of adventure ❤️

After a walk around the high street, a trip to an indoor market, a pet shop and a short time to relax at a cafe, I had someone hold them above the fallen leaves so I could capture their first autumn photo 🥰

10 week pupdate 🐾❤

The puppies are loving life and are enjoying their daily adventures. Fern and Fisco will set off for new adventures in a few weeks and as Forest is yet to find his hoomans, we may have the privilege of having him for longer 🥰

Astra has decided that Kody (Fisco) is her baby. Forest loves the energetic play with the adult dogs and Fern prefers my calmer adults. It is interesting watching the remaining three puppies and exposing them to new activities. The differences in personalities are evident, and it is special getting to know them more.

Fern, Forest and Fisco will stay until they have had their second vaccine, which means we get to visit more places and go on lots of little adventures together.

3 puppies set off for new adventures over the weekend so Eden has been entertaining the 4 puppies 🥰

(Her time with them is limited for safety and to avoid over excitement)

Forest 💚

Our last baby is looking for his hoomans who will treasure him for life and in return, they will receive unconditional love from an incredible little boy.

If you have ever met a dog that makes you smile just by looking at them, or it’s just a pleasure to be around them as they seem to brighten up the room by being there, Forest is that dog.

He will create special connections with those who love him and I am certain he will make people’s day just by greeting him.

Forest is definitely a companion dog. He loves humans and he values every interaction. He has the waggiest happy tail and just wants to be around us, on our knee, playing with us, or he is content eating a chew on our knees or being close by (sometimes he can be found on my shoulder).

He also loves other dogs, no matter their size or energy level- he is there, wagging his tail and wanting to play. He can also ignore them and go off to play on his own. He has demonstrated numerous beautiful canine social skills, which make me very proud. He has learnt a lot from my pack, which will benefit him going forward.

I would love to see him in a home where he will receive an abundance of love, understanding and care. I do think working with him, getting him used to being on his own, is something his new hoomans will need to work on to prevent separation anxiety. I will do what I can whilst he is with me.
I am and will always be honest about our puppy’s temperament as I want them to be in the right home for them.

Forest deserves the very best because he genuinely is incredible. If my house weren’t full of furry family members, Forest would have stayed with me.

When you get one of my puppies, you are giving a gift to something extremely special to me. Having been more involved with this litter, it is a lot harder than ever before to let them go. Seeing them with the right family that matches them, seeing them being happy and making their new hoomans laugh, and be full of love… that is what I need.

He can set off for new adventures at any time, though I have booked him in for his 2nd vaccine on the 24th of October. He will stay with me until the right people find him.

Small, woolly, with soulful light brown eyes and with a personality that shines, he will be someone’s soul dog ❤️

A late 8 week pupdate for Willow's little pups ❤

We made it. All those weeks ago imagining them getting to this point seemed impossible (especially during those early morning feeds). Raising this litter has been an emotional rollercoaster and it has taught me a lot.

Our first baby leaves this weekend which is going to be tough yet I feel like it was meant to be and this special puppy lives nearby.

Most babies are staying until they have had their 2nd vaccine and I am so so pleased that I get to spend more time with them.

Forest is our only pup looking for his forever someone and I will create a special post for him soon.

The puppies are still our smallest puppies to date with the exception of Flash weighing the same as our previous small pups.

I will reply to messages and send updates to people when I can. I am not feeling well yet but on the bright side, the puppies are experiencing their human having a croaky voice (and sometimes the voice that randomly disappears when speaking).

I want to say a huge thank you to Alexandru Garabadji for coming to my house and capturing these special moments. I explained what I wanted and he captured them. The photos with Willow and Fern are incredibly meaningful ❤

I know I have taught Willow to be relaxed in front of a camera, understand sit and stay but she blew me away. She didn't have to asked, she knew. Her patience was phenomenal.

I always take the puppy photos but this time I wanted something special from a professional. There was a real fear of losing Willow and then all of the puppies 7 weeks ago… There was another scary moment where I thought I was losing Fern. After a late night emergency visit and then monitoring and extra care for the next 24hours… Fern pulled through.

I wanted Fern with her mum partly because she is Willow’s little clone but I wanted to see them together in a photo that I can treasure forever. Fern had to fight for life. I was the only one who could help Willow recover, at the same time feeding her babies until Willow could feed them on her own.

This is the first time where I have raised a litter and feel like I did it. I have never taken our previous puppies for granted but this time, I had to be so much more involved and having not needed to do it before.. I was terrified. 8 lives relied on me. If I lost any of them, I don’t think I could have done it again. The fear of losing them is going to stay with me forever. Knowing that I helped them all will also stay with me forever.

7 week pupdate 🐾

How did the last 7 weeks go by so fast... I do not feel ready for these babies to start leaving next week. I am grateful that at least 2 will be staying, so I can spend more time with them and get their second vaccines done.

I need to talk to someone, but we have 2, possibly 3 babies still on the hunt for their forever someone.

2 of the babies have special homes lined up. Their new pawrents have been there supporting me through Willow's illness and throughout the last 7 weeks. They have no idea what their support has meant to me ❤

Hendrix has 2 stunning boys on the hunt for their forever someone... how have they not been snapped up 🥺

Oreo has 2 blue eyes, a black/tan/white coat and has a beautiful conformation. He is down in Essex, raised beautifully well and will make a family very happy. Mum weighs 5.5kg, dad weighs 4.5kg. Oreo may weigh a little more than them.

Sonic is Hendrix’s clone and he will be smaller 🥹 He has been raised beautifully well by his breeder around the Preston area.

I would not hesitate in recommending the breeders of these 2 amazing boys. I could go on and on about both and I can provide more information ❤️

Shares are gratefully received as these boys need to find their humans and bond with their new 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

6 week pupdate🐾❤

It has taken me all day to capture these photos and then to go through them. It is not easy taking their photos without an assistant and you can guarantee Flurry stands in front of every pup as I start to take their picture. Flash liked the new bed so much, he came back to sleep on it. Fable has decided that she is very good at climbing, and she tried to climb to sit on my shoulder whilst I was taking someone's photo.

In between taking photos, feeding the pups, cleaning up after them and caring for the older pups and adult dogs- I got there 😅
