Not all cats need folded ears or flat faces to be fabulous. In fact, some of those features can lead to a lifetime of pain due to genetic defects. Despite their rising popularity online, these cats often suffer from joint issues and arthritis.

Cat facts:
👉 45% of new cats in the UK are now pedigrees.
👉 Only 43% are domestic short- or long-haired.
👉 Moggies still make up 58% of UK cats, but that number is dropping.

🌞 This weekend is going to be a scorcher. Here's a few tips on how to keep your feline friend cool 🐾👇👇

✅ Fresh water everywhere – add ice cubes!
✅ Let them rest on cool tiles or damp towels
✅ Try a cooling mat
✅ Close blinds & use fans to cool rooms
✅ Brush regularly to remove excess fur
✅ Avoid active play during peak heat

And remember, watch for signs of overheating: panting, lethargy, drooling. And remember to call your vet if you're worried.
