We offer a friendly, welcoming and caring service to our customers whether of the two or four legged variety and we offer advice on any animal subject you care to mention. We have an enormous car park and free parking from 8 in the morning to 6 at night, making us a simple one stop shop for all your pet supplies as well as the best in veterinary advice. Any pet product we don't have we can get the

next day. At any other time we are only a phonecall away if you need advice or help in an emergency - just ring our usual number 01458 832972 and our answering service will make sure you speak to one of the Orchard Vets as a matter of urgency.

Olive was told by Nurse Jess that she had to stay in her kennel while Jess worked… but Olive clearly had other plans. 💚

From reception duties to helping behind the scenes, she made sure she had a very productive day at OVG.

Our phone lines will remain open for emergencies and you can still reach us on 01458 832972 if needed.

A vet and nurse will be on call for emergency care while the practice is closed.

We will be back open as normal on Tuesday the 1st of September.

🐾 Orchard Health Plan Updates.

Following on from our September Vaccine Amnesty, we have some brilliant Health Plan updates to share. 💚

From the 1st of September, puppies and kittens joining the Orchard Health Plan will have their primary vaccinations included at no extra charge.

Cats and dogs on the Health Plan will also have 2 tick removals included per year.

For September only, adult dogs and cats who need to restart their vaccination course can have their primary vaccinations included when signing up to the Health Plan.

The plan includes boosters, regular health checks, preventative care and average savings of £164 per year.

Health Plan subscriptions are for a minimum of 12 months and T&Cs apply.

Is your pet overdue their vaccinations? 💚

Throughout September, we’re offering a full primary vaccination course for £39.99 as part of our Vaccine Amnesty.

This includes two vaccinations given 3 to 4 weeks apart for cats and 4 weeks apart for dogs, plus a health check with one of our vets at the time of vaccination.

It’s a chance to get your pet’s protection back on track while making a saving during September.

The offer runs until the 30th of September 2026.

Pixie came in for her vaccination appointment and microchip. 💚

She was a very brave girl and made the most of her Lick-e-Lix treats during her visit.

Appointments like this are an important part of early care, helping young pets stay protected and making sure their microchip details are in place from the start.

He was collected by the council from Cinnamon Road and had no microchip when scanned.

If you believe this may be your cat, please contact the practice directly. Proof of ownership will be required.

Albie recently came in to see us after being adopted into his new home. 💚

He is an ex-racing greyhound who is now settling into a very different pace of life, with plenty of couch and cuddle time ahead of him.

Albie has also joined the Orchard Health Plan, helping keep his routine care organised as he starts this new chapter with his family.

Ethel has just been fully accredited with Therapy Dog Training UK, which is a fantastic achievement for her and her owners.

Therapy dogs play an important role in offering comfort, reassurance and connection to people in different settings, so it is brilliant to see one of our patients recognised for this work.
