What a great day we have had today, celebrating 40 years of the Young Farmers Office opening.
To hear the history from 40 years ago when Princess Anne attended to open the office brought a tear to my eye and to know my Grandad is still heavily embedded in people’s memory and even inside the office is precious.
What phenomenal work goes into this place to keep it going and organise such wonderful events.
You do amazing ladies and gents and Halso will be there to support you all the way, and certainly for the next 40 years and more! You should all be very proud 🫶🏻

It was a pleasure to meet Nic Edmonds from Staffordshire Women's Aid today.

Staffordshire Women’s Aid is HALSO UK FUELS LTD and EL Oils Limited chosen charity. For nearly 50 years the charity have been supporting those living with, fleeing or recovering from the impact of domestic and sexual violence and abuse.
They support and empower victims to rebuild their lives free from fear and violence, enabling them to see themselves as Survivors 💪🏻

We will be supporting the charity with exciting raffles, coffee mornings, raising donations and completing some challenges so please stay tuned and help us assist this amazing charity.

Let’s make a head start and especially with it being the summer school holidays here is a list of items they are short of which will be greatly appreciated for donation, please drop off at Halso HQ in Fradley or message me for collection.
Remember ladies and gents most of these items we take for granted, but just think of these victims fleeing with children with not even £1 in the bank.

Did you know that the three oil droplets in the EL Oils logo did not just originate from oil droplets 💧

We are a company originated in Lichfield and the City houses a beautiful Cathedral, Lichfield Cathedral is unique and the only ancient Cathedral in England to have three Spires, a fact that seems to have been totally airbrushed from history. The Cathedral is often referred to as ‘the Ladies of the Vale’

Hence not only does our logo represent the product we sell, oil, it also represents our histroic location.

Our sister company Halso UK Fuels also reflects the same historic logo (albeit black 😉 one day pink please Dad 😇)

It’s been a fun but sad day today, unfortunately it has been our administrative assistant, Henriette’s, last day at Halso today, although Henriette hasn’t been with us long she has become a lucrative part of the team and family, with her famous South African spirit and accent she will be greatly missed.
We have enjoyed her favourite cuisine today of burgers and toasted her off to enjoy her new adventure.
We wish you all the best in the future 🩷

DRIVERS!!!
For any of you effected by the prax episode I have temporary work available for you while you are standing waiting or for any of you interested in temp to perm.
MUST have class 1, PDP, ADR, can load at Valero Kingsbury and not essential but desired Esso terminal, must be competent in forecourt deliveries.
Role is 48 hours a week Monday - Friday or we can offer 48 hours over a 4 day week (Monday - Friday) overtime available
We are family owned and run business since 1967
HALSO UK FUELS in Fradley Park WS13 8NG which is where you would be based.
Shifts start between 2-4am.
Available immediately from Monday.
