My first bat release of the year! 🦇

It was such a lovely moment releasing this little pipistrelle. The lady that found him came out to see him be released, and having Claire with me meant I could capture it on video 🙂

I’m a bat carer with the Bat Conservation Trust, and I regularly take in injured or grounded bats. Im not sure how long ive been doing it for but it must be over 10 years now!

Sadly, not every bat that comes in gets a happy ending, which makes moments like this even more special. 🥹

He was found on the ground in Kirkby in Furness with some puncture wounds to his wings and he was a little underweight.
After a couple of weeks healing up and eating alllllll the mealworms he was ready to go!

We dont share many pictures of the small furries we have for sale, because to be honest they can be hard to get great pictures of 🤣 and it can take quite a bit of time and patience!

But Tillys been on the job so I thought id share them here as they are so cute! ❤️

If your interested in small furries as pets please get in touch with us before coming to the shop.

We ask you to do this, as we have minimum standards of housing and will ask to see a picture of your cage before you come in.
We also do this, as it means we can make sure the right staff member is available to see you.

We recently had three baby rabbits brought in to be sexed. The owner had contacted her local vet, but they didn’t feel confident sexing them accurately and suggested she watch a YouTube video instead.

Wanting to be certain and not feeling confident doing it herself, she reached out to us after someone recommended our services.

Sexing rabbits isn’t difficult when you know what to look for, but for someone without experience (especially with very young rabbits) it can be quite tricky to tell the difference and mistakes can easily be made.

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re always happy to help if we can 🐰🐰🐰

On this delivery we have:

2-3" Red Goldfish

2-3" Shubunkins
4-5" Shubunkins
3-4" Metallic Koi
3-4" Usaki Koi

We will have regular fortnightly deliveries of pond fish throughout spring and summer.

The selection will vary depending on whats available.
We can also order in particular fish or sizes so please just ask!
