If you ever have any cat food you no longer need, please drop it at the shop, and we will deliver it to one of the local cat rescues.
Yesterday, we delivered some donations to Animal Welfare Furness in Ulverston.
They will either use it for the cats in their care or sell it to raise funds.

Like many kids i was scared of spiders growing up 😱🕷
I wasn't terrified, and definitely not arachnophobic, just scared of them running out at me, being in my bed, falling in my hair etc and I definitely would never touch one.👎

But i also never killed them, id always get someone to move them, or as I got older id use the glass and envelope method. ✉️🥛

At 17 i held my first tarantula and loved it! 🖤😁
She was gentle, slow, elegant, pretty and watching her move was mesmerising. 🙃

A few weeks later I got my first Chile Rose tarantula and called her Biffy (after Biffy Clyro) 🎸🤘

Isn't it strange how even now at 38 years old I wont put my hand into the cupboard that these 7cm spiders live in, but i own 4 tarantulas, all of which ill hold with the biggest being 16cm 😆🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else feel this way about spiders and tarantulas? 😆❓️ x

Kiki the Japanese Shiba Inu, was in today picking her own Christmas present 😍 🎁
Its the first time ive met this breed of dog before, but they are actually one of Japan’s oldest native dog breeds, dating back to 300 BC.

Feel free to bring your pets along to pick their own Christmas pressies!
