Interesting group for people with a passion about the countryside

The Small Farm Training group is open to everyone, you do not need to own ‘a small farm’.
We are a group of people with an abundance of knowledge in many things. Whether you want to learn about rearing your own meat, enjoying the company of alpacas, growing your own vegetables, or how to make chorizo there will be something to interest you. We run training courses throughout the year.
We enjoy social gatherings, and once a month we have a Friday night talk at the Burwash Common Pavilion, which are free to members and only £3 to non members. Please check out our website www.sftg.org.uk for details.

Just a quick thank you from us to all of you who have used our secure walking area. January is nearly over, Spring is peeping from just over the Downs. Hopefully we can start moving on from the muddy walks….
I especially want to thank those of our walkers who clear away their dog’s 💩, and even more so those who find an abandoned 💩 and take that too.
Etching Wood is only as good as those who use it and leave it respectfully for the following walker.

One of the best things about walking in Etching Woof is that the old boys can saunter along at their pace whilst the younger two can bomb around. Lots of spaces and no rain forecast this week….
