The beautiful Milo had his first big boy groom this morning.

What an angel he is, it is an absolute pleasure to spend time with him. Even if he does drag my sofa across the room trying to get the cushions off 🫪😆

How beautiful is Dottie? 🥰

Her very first full groom, and she did so well! ✂️🐾

As she’s still very young, we took our time and never forced her to do anything she was uncomfortable with. Instead, we kept everything as calm and positive as possible, allowing her to go at her own pace.

She looked absolutely gorgeous afterwards! 💕 Well done, Dottie! 🐶✨

Pepper’s First Haircut 🐾💙

I honestly can’t tell you how proud I am of Pepper! 🥹💕

Pepper has been coming to me for training sessions because she’s quite worried by the whole grooming process. We’ve taken everything at her pace, building her confidence little by little, and today we reached such a special milestone…

Pepper was able to cope with her first clip off and scissor tidy! ✂️🐶

It might seem like a small thing, but to me it’s HUGE. I’m so incredibly proud of how far she has come. 💕

Moments like this really remind me why I groom the way I do. Putting a dog’s feelings, confidence and wellbeing first really does pay off. It might take a little longer, but seeing a worried dog learn to trust the process makes every second worth it. 🥹

Well done Pepper, I’m so proud of you! 💙

🐾 Beautiful Bertie’s first groom! 🐾

The gorgeous Bertie came in for his very first groom with me and he coped so well! 💙

He was worried about the dryer, so that’s something we’ll work on together at his future visits. He had a lovely scissor tidy and was so relaxed that he even fell asleep while I was grooming him! 🥰✂️

Well done Bertie, you did brilliantly! I can’t wait to see you again soon. 💙🐾

The beautiful Suki came in for her groom this week 🤍🐾

Suki is an elderly girl and very worried by the grooming process, so we adapted everything around her needs. Most of her groom was done on the sofa and floor, where she felt safest and most comfortable.

Her lovely mum stayed with her too, which really helped keep her stress levels down. 🥰

She may not look “perfect”, but she was comfortable, happy and listened to and that’s what matters most. ❤️

Well done Suki! I can’t wait to see you again. 🐾💕

Meet Pringle 🐾❤️

I always talk about Millie, of course, because she is the beautiful girl behind the name Millie Moo Dog Grooming. But today I want to introduce you to my other special little soul… my beautiful boy, Pringle. 🥹❤️

Pringle has taught me so much about dogs, and he continues to teach me something new every single day. He is chaotic, loving, energetic (although at home he is actually VERY lazy 😂), and completely full of life. He has this wonderful way of making the most out of every situation and bringing fun wherever he goes.

Pringle was Millie’s best friend, and honestly, I don’t think he could have loved her more if he tried. They shared such a special bond, and watching them together was one of the greatest gifts. ❤️

When we lost Millie, we were both completely heartbroken. It was the most difficult time of my life, but somehow, we helped each other through it. I was there for him, and he was there for me. We found our way through the grief together. 🐾🌈

I genuinely couldn’t wish for a better dog. Pringle is my pride and joy, my special little man, and such a huge part of my life.

I love you, Pringle, more than I could ever put into words. ❤️

The gorgeous Freya came in for a mini groom today! 🐾💗

As this was Freya’s first visit with me, starting with a mini groom rather than going straight into a full groom gives me the opportunity to see what she is comfortable and confident with, while also identifying anything we can work on together at her own pace.

Her confidence really grew throughout her session, and by the end she was happy and relaxed enough to finish with some lovely cuddles on the sofa. 🥰

Well done, Freya! I can’t wait to see you again and watch your confidence continue to grow. 💕🐶
