A while back the wonderful Torunn Havre of workingforus cocker spaniels asked for our help (Russet & Rumble) to help diversify the cocker lines in Norway and try to better the health of the breed. Rumble had a lovely litter with Torunn's girl, OFTAW Flame. Emma is a girl from that litter and has passed all of her health tests including A grade hips, which is notoriously difficult to achieve. Very shortly Russet's swimmers will be put to Emma and we are all very excited to see the outcome. 🤞🏻

2 weeks ago we were blessed with a new member of the pack and future Dog & Field model, welcome Theo and huge thank you to Dog and Field for the wonderful clothes parcel that appeared this morning. Absolutely love his first ever gilet and shows off his ginger hair pretty well 😂♥️🥰

So pleased to report that this beautiful girl, sired by Rumble has passed her patella check and passed grade A hips. She will be mated to Russet when the time comes. Huge congratulations to Torunn Havre who is doing so much work in Norway for the good and health of our much loved cocker spaniel.

Happy birthday to the one and only Henna, the dog who utterly turned my life upside down, got me hooked onto the most expensive hobby going, is totally to blame for me having so many dogs, but also made me a great number of new friends.

If you know you know.... gundog training..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 never forget the rabbit balls....

10 years old.... massive achievement for Dog & Field 🍾🎂🎉 Well done Colin and team. I can honestly say the food is brilliant, and your innovation for new designs is second to none. Also, love being part of the media crew (more the dogs, not me!)! Media, as always, by the very talented Black Grouse Media ♥️

We knew Jack wasn't as big as everybody thought he was - he photographs quite big. Those of you who have seen my dogs, know I love the old fashioned, proper cocker stamp. So today, we were highly scientific.... it involved a magnetic tape measure, a galvanised panel and some good timing 🙈🤣 Russet is 35cm (we knew this because he has caused differing opinions in the agility world). Jack is 37cm, the same as Rumble. We tried our best, I'm not going to stand by this in a courtroom but I gave it a blooming good shot!!
