Behind the Groom: Grooming a Dog with Cushing’s Disease 🐾

It can also change the skin, coat and hair growth cycle, leading to thinning fur, slower regrowth, delicate skin and an increased risk of skin infections.

That’s why our cosmetic teeth cleaning service is designed to help maintain your pet’s oral hygiene. However, it’s not a replacement for veterinary dental care. If we notice any signs of dental disease, pain or inflammation, we’ll always recommend a visit to your vet before any cosmetic cleaning.

Jackson came in for a professional deshed, and just look at how much loose fur we removed! 😍

Many people think grooming is just for dogs, but cats can benefit too. Regular deshedding helps remove loose undercoat, can reduce hairballs, keeps the coat healthy and shiny, and leaves your cat feeling much more comfortable- especially during shedding season.

Most of us remember to protect our own skin in the sun- but what about our dogs? ☀️

Dogs with light-coloured coats, pink noses, thin fur or exposed skin can all be at risk of sunburn during the warmer months.

A few simple precautions, like choosing shady walks and using a pet-safe sunscreen on vulnerable areas, can help keep your pet safe and comfortable 🐾

ALSO- shaving your dog doesn’t always keep them cooler- in many breeds, their coat actually helps regulate body temperature 🌡️
