🐾 Meet Zee (Hedgehog) Not quite built for police work, but maybe perfect for you 💙

At just five months old, Zee had a difficult start in life and was seized on welfare grounds before being cared for by the RSPCA and later the Dogs Trust in Cardiff. Despite this, he’s shown nothing but resilience.

When Zee first arrived in D&C with his puppy walkers, Kim and Mike, the world felt like a scary place. He was cautious and unsure, even reluctant to leave the house. But with time, patience and a lot of kindness, Zee began to trust.

Fast forward to now and he’s a completely different pup ✨Playful, affectionate, and full of enthusiasm! Zee absolutely loves his training sessions and being out and about. His confidence is growing every day, and his personality is really shining through.

Zee is a sweet-natured dog who would make an incredible companion for someone active, who can match his energy and continue building his confidence. He may be a little cautious at first, but once he knows you, he’ll give you his whole heart 🐶

🐶 URGENT: FOUR 9-WEEK-OLD PUPPIES STILL WAITING FOR THEIR FOSTER HOMES 💔

Six puppies came into our care…
Two are safe in foster.
Four are still here.

Sitting in kennels. Waiting.
After everything they’ve been through, it must be so scary for them.

They are just 9 weeks old… and they need a home now.

We believe they are Presa Canario, so will grow into large dogs.

They just need a safe, loving place while they wait for their case to be resolved.

Because of an ongoing legal case, we can’t share photos… and that’s making them so easy to overlook.

Please don’t let them be forgotten.

We provide everything.
They just need you.

Please be the one who gives them a better chance in life.

When the world feels a bit…ruff…we prescribe this:

Happy 5th Birthday to PD Nero (left), PD Hunter (middle) and PD Enzo (right) 🎉🐾

Five years of chasing criminals, sniffing out trouble, and being paws-itively heroic. Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear collars and demand snacks.

Today’s shift brief:
✔️ Extra belly rubs
✔️ Zero paperwork
✔️ Unlimited treats (don’t tell the vet)
✔️ Being told they’re good boys at least 47 times

They spend their days protecting our communities, so today we’re celebrating them. Drop them a birthday woof below and help us make their tails wag a little faster 🧁🦴

Because honestly, if anyone deserves to paws and enjoy the moment, it’s these three 🖤

Can you give our gorgeous girl Maggie the forever home she deserves? 🐾💙

Maggie is a beautiful 12-month-old German Shepherd who was on track to become a very good Police Dog. Sadly, her hip x-rays didn’t meet the very high standard required for police work — but she’ll make a truly wonderful companion pet!

We’re now looking for a loving, active home for Maggie. Ideally, we’d love someone with experience handling large, energetic dogs. Maggie is confident, playful, and very friendly — and she’s great with children too!

She’ll thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and mental stimulation in a secure garden. For that reason, we’re not looking to place her in a home simply to keep another dog company. Maggie also wouldn’t be suited to a home with cats.
