Hi everyone, I’m writing to give you a quick update on next week’s predicted high temperatures. For the dogs’ safety, I’ll only be offering a secure field walk at 7am so I can keep a close eye on them. Collection will be around 6:10.

Later in the day I’ll only be doing pop-in visits so the dogs can have a toilet break and check-in without being out in the heat.

If you’re home and don’t need me that day, please let me know. It’s completely fine.

If the weather changes, I’m happy to reassess. Your dogs’ wellbeing is always my top priority.

🐾 Grass Seed Season Reminder 🐾
As the weather warms up, grass seeds become a real nuisance for our dogs. These tiny seeds can work their way into paws, ears, armpits and even under the skin, causing pain and infections if they’re not spotted quickly.

I always check dogs over after their walk, but grass seeds can hide anywhere and sometimes only show up later in the day. Because of this, it’s really important for owners to give their dogs a quick check at home too — especially between the toes, around the ears, and in long fur.

Regular checks help catch any seeds early and prevent bigger problems. Thank you for helping keep all the dogs safe and comfortable 🧡

Paws Claws and Whiskers – Cancellation Policy

As a small business, last‑minute cancellations have a big impact on my schedule and income. I often have other dogs waiting for spaces, so having enough notice means I can offer those slots to other clients who need them.

To keep things fair for everyone, my cancellation policy is:

48‑Hour Cancellation Notice

If you need to cancel a walk or visit, please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
This allows me time to offer the space to another dog.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booked walk or visit will be charged in full.

⛅ Weather & Safety

If I ever need to adjust timings due to extreme weather (heat, storms, ice), I’ll always let you know and offer safe alternatives such as early walks or pop‑ins.

Understanding & Flexibility

I completely understand that life happens — shifts change, kids and pets get sick, plans move around. All I ask is that you let me know as soon as possible so I can manage my diary fairly for everyone.
